She has been recruiting for 10+ years and has owned her own firm for 7 years. Jan recruits for a variety of clients from coast to coast including metric, Euro and Harley-Davidson dealerships, as well as OEMs, aftermarket companies and industry related service agencies. She also offers career coaching, career search guidance and resume advice or revisions.

Bobbie started as an English teacher in a high school in Pennsylvania. She was a motorcycle rider and implemented a Motorcycle Safety Program into the school in which students received academic credit for learning to ride safely. The course actually changed student behavior in positive ways. Bobbie left teaching and went into all levels of management of the Pennsylvania Motorcycle Safety Program, also providing Instructor Training for the Program. The next step in her career journey was the Motorcycle Safety Foundation where she helped pilot the BRC and rolled it out in 47 states in two years. After MSF, Bobbie worked for the U.S. Military, which included rolling out a Traffic and Motorcycle Safety Program in Europe. It was with the Military that she learned how best to save lives. She is now back in management of State Programs, with one goal - save lives and reduce fatality rates among motorcyclists.

Made in Mexico, purely Canadian! Deyanira is a Professional Engineer, Certified/Designated Project Manager, and Woman of Action. Her motto is “making the impossible possible”. Deya has worked in energy and housing projects, and she is a motivational speaker on personal productivity. First published Latin-Canadian woman to complete a continuous two-year motorcycle journey through the Americas, doing research in 16 countries. Deya believes in living small/with less, alternative energies, prioritizing physical/mental health, and sharing privilege. She is one of the 250-Canadians selected to be a part of the 2020-Governor General's Canadian Leadership Conference where candidates “help shape Canadians’ responses to upcoming challenges” and was recently recognized with “Mentor of the Year Award 2020” by Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, Canada.

Jen Dunstan has 20 years of riding experience, and over 10 years in the industry. Jen is a co-founder of the nation’s largest women’s only charity trackday, Femmewalla. Her on-track activities include racing with the United States Classic Racing Association and Chuckwalla Valley Motorcycle Association. Her motorcycle industry resume includes working for Dainese, Troy Lee Designs, Thor MX, Alta Motors, and Sena, and she is currently a District Sales Manager for Husqvarna Motorcycles USA.

As motorcyclists, as in life, at times we ride alone, with partners, or in groups. The term “lead our lives” implies we have leadership responsibilities for ourselves, in partnership with significant others, and if chosen or volunteered, in groups. In this session Sylvia shares how we can be strong “ride leaders” on motorcycles and in life so that we make better decisions for ourselves and our partners. We’ll also learn how to earn followers in order to serve them effectively and safely on the journeys we take along the way, together.

Misty grew up with a love of motorcycles from her Dad who bought her a scooter in her teens and taught her how to ride. Michelle Lamphere was born and raised in Sturgis, South Dakota, home of the world famous Sturgis Rally. After dedicating more than 20 years to her high-stress role as a hotel executive she decided to make some major life changes. She sold her house, quit her six-figure salary career and hit the road, traveling for two years by motorcycle through North, Central and South America.

In the motorcycle world, Kirsten Midura wears many hats. She is the Founder of Engines for Change and Moto Market NYC, she is a core team member of Women Riders Now, a judge panelist for the Toronto and South Jersey Moto Film Festivals, a community organizer for The MotoSocial and the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, a filmmaker and moto-journalist, and so much more. In this presentation, though, she'll just be Kirsten - a fellow rider with a lot of experience with used bikes. And she'll show you her tried-and-true method of buying a pre-loved moto.

Sara is an avid and unlikely motorcyclist, who started riding for purely practical reasons (to skip the Ferry line while commuting to law school) nineteen years ago. These days she's a consultant and coach with a focus on change and transformation: work she never would have done were it not for the coaching and skill-building journey she's been on around riding for the last few years. Sara is Principal Consultant with Red Currant Collective, her change consulting company; she's also Chief Marketer for Counter Weight Motorsport, a race bike shop based in the Seattle area. And finally, she hosts The Moto Curious, a podcast and blog devoted to answering questions about motorcycling to help make motorcycling more accessible and inclusive for all riders.

Lisa is a touring and off-road aficionado with over four decades of riding experience, who loves the motorcycling community's camaraderie. In 2005, after a long IT career, she combined her motorcycling passion with her profession. Lisa started in the industry at a BMW/Vespa dealership, where she worked her way up to GM. She then worked at industry giants Schuberth North America and RideNow, before becoming an entrepreneur. She has served on the boards of the Women's Coalition of Motorcycles, the BMWMOA, and the BMWRA. Lisa was also staff on the 2016 Sisters’ Centennial Motorcycle Ride. She recently retired and volunteers enthusiastically as well as writes articles for motorcycle magazines-both online and in print. Lisa is currently the Chair for the Women's Coalition of Motorcyclists.

Kristen wasn’t about to let her husband Wayne (20-year professional off-road racer) have all the fun or success. Her hunger for adrenaline led her behind the wheel of her own Polaris RZR four years ago. Turns out, Kristen has the same competitive drive as her husband and she quickly captured big wins. Known as the “Iron Woman,” she drives every mile of every race she competes. Kristen has been behind the wheel of her race car for as long as 39 hours. In 2019 she had back-to-back wins at the SCORE San Felipe 250 and earned her first win at the granddaddy of them all, the SCORE Baja 1000. Kristen recently returned from racing at the Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia.

Tina McDermott is an Inspirational Chef, Speaker, Weight Loss Coach, and Personal Trainer for the past 20 years. “True health is more than our outward physical appearance; the benefits and indications of excellent health are much more profound". She is on a mission to helping women innovate, bring out their best selves, be strong, healthy, and fit and develop a portfolio of success. Her passion is teaching fitness and nutrition from her own home studio and kitchen as she prepares healthy, delicious easy meals for you to follow along with her. Tina is the founder of the Finally Thin Forever coaching program where she helps individuals as well as small groups. The key to her client’s success is her ability to help them come to peace with their emotional eating.

Gail Mooney began her visual career as a still photographer after attending Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. She spent over thirty years shooting around the world for magazines and corporations. Some of her clients: National Geographic, Smithsonian, Travel & Leisure and Islands Magazine. As an adrenaline loving sports addict, life took a turn in 2014 when I was hit by a red-light-jumping car while cycling. In that moment, life as I knew it changed and over the following seven years I was taken on a mental and physical rollercoaster with a full shoulder and hip reconstruction. It was also during this time that I discovered the soul igniting love for life on two wheels, but more importantly a new level of gratitude and appreciation for life.

Angie was born with several congenital birth defects - the most noticeable being her right arm. As a result of being encouraged by her parents to do whatever she set her mind, the word “can’t” never existed in Angie’s vocabulary. Often judged based on her appearance, accomplishing her dreams was not always easy. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014, Angie decided that it was time to ride her own motorcycle and has not looked back since. Erin Sills is a 45-time land speed motorcycle record holder, industry spokesperson, and retired Facebook executive. She owns Hunter Sills Racing which races 1000cc BMW motorcycles on the Bonneville Salt. Erin and her team hold more records in the 1000cc class than any other, including the coveted 1000cc Production record at 207 mph, the top naturally aspirated mile record at 238.389 mph, and a top speed to-date of 242mph. Erin is co-chairwoman of the largest US website for female motorcycle enthusiasts, WomenRidersNow.com, and has been named the American Motorcyclist Association Female Athlete of the Year͟ for her motorcycling accomplishments and the American Marketing Association’s Woman to Watch͟ for her business accomplishments. Erin most recently served as a Global Director of Marketing at Facebook. She and her race team have set two Guinness Book World Records, and Erin a member of the Bonneville 200 MPH Club, the El Mirage 200 MPH Club, the BUB 201 MPH Club, and the Mojave 200 MPH Club. My goal, as co-founder of the Women’s Motorcyclist Foundation, has always been to promote the growth of women in motorcycling in all its forms. Having helped to host road, track, and off-road venues on behalf of breast cancer research, I am now focused on our DIRTY FOR GOOD - Dual Sport/Adventure venues, with support from other dual sport/adventure riders, mostly women but with a few good men too! Leah Boles has been a marketing professional for over ten years focusing on digital design and event coordination. Shiree ‘vol’Cano’s passion is to help other women recovering from trauma induced PTSD. She sustained severe injuries in a car accident that also took her husband's life just 3 weeks after their wedding. For Shiree, finding road racing was the “therapy” that worked for her and could help other women with PTSD. She started a 501c3 nonprofit for women's PTSD recovery called #sheemotos

An adventure lover with a career in the high tech industry, Debra Chin founded MotoChic® after discovering the joys of motorcycling and being unable to find gear for women that is functional and fashionable. It all started with an idea and a Kickstarter campaign. Debra was inspired by style icon and motorcyclist Lauren Hutton to create her first product, the Lauren bag.

The Motorcyclist community welcomed Gigi into a culture that looks after each other and inspires one and other, but she felt something was missing. Brittany lost her leg in a motorcycle accident on August 12, 2015. She received a prosthetic leg in November of 2017. She was determined to get back on a motorcycle and did not let her disability stop her from achieving her goals. She is a very active amputee, a better rider now than she ever thought she could be, both physically and mentally.

Karleen is a fashion designer with over a decade of experience. She loves motorcycles! Raven Rova is the culmination of her mission to empower women through fashion. Karleen designs CE-rated gear for women sizes 6-22. Karleen has survived a crash and a life-long battle with an autoimmune condition. For her, suiting up and getting back in the saddle is worth it.

An Eastern Kentucky Appalachian native, Jennifer has been riding motorcycles for over 25 years. She followed her heart to study literature and is academically obsessed with folklore and psychology. Sharing thoughtful techniques on how to leverage motorcycling experience to uncover strengths and overcome difficulties, Jennifer loves to support riders. She currently manages a communications team for a global white goods company.

A motorcyclist for over 25 years, Valerie Figarella got her start in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, sharing garage space with such luminaries as Indian Larry. Pioneering the Community Garage concept, Val established Motorgrrl LLC: A full service community garage based in 2004, providing a proactive example to girls, women and all those who love motorcycles.

Sandra teaches for a local motorcycle school in Brooklyn, NY on weekends when she’s not leading a ride for her motorcycle club, The Sirens. Sandra is the Vice Chair of the national Women’s Coalition of Motorcyclist (WCM), 5 Borough ABATE Road Captain, and a member of the New York City Motorcycle Advocacy Council which meets with NYC Dept. of Transportation and NYPD monthly to address the safety concerns of the NYC motorcyclist.

Egle has been traveling the world on motorcycles since 2013, working as a freelance writer and journalist and hoping to share the passion with other women riders via the Women ADV Riders online mag. Currently, Egle is riding around Europe and racing cross-country rallies wherever she can find them.

After a motorcycle accident totaled her bike, Rocky was looking for her next set of wheels while she was still recovering. She found her next adventure in a 2014 Ural Gear Up. Little did she know that most of the adventure would be in the garage. The bike needed a lot of work, and without a Ural mechanic around for hours, Rocky dug deep to learn all she could. She now maintains, fixes, and mods all 3 of her current bikes. She shares her passion for moto-maintenance on social media and at events conducting Wrenching with Rocky "Get Dirty!" workshops to inspire confidence in others to pick up a wrench.

Magda has been motorcycle enthusiast for a long time and especially enjoys riding long distance. Her favorite trips have been a couple of cross-country journeys and in Colorado where she resides. An MSF Rider Coach and Accident Management instructor, in her professional life she is a Registered Nurse. Magda always enjoys sharing her knowledge and is often a tour guide for Women's Motorcycle Tours.

Carla King is an adventure travel author, journalist, blogger, speaker, and writing and publishing coach. In 1995, Carla pioneered the art of the internet travelogue (now called blogs) with stories about breakdowns in small towns all around the USA from the saddle of a Russian Ural sidecar motorcycle. Other trips on unreliable indigenous motorcycles took her to India, China, Europe, Baja, and Morocco. Carla is founder of the Destination Published author coaching service, Self-Publishing Boot Camp workshops and courses, the Author Friendly Podcast, and a post-covid Virtual Travel Writing Group. She speaks widely about writing and publishing in the adventure travel and literary worlds, at events like Overland Expo and the SF Writer’s Conference.

Margie is a Medical Microbiologist, infectious disease researcher, and college professor. She's been a motorcyclist for 34 years. Margie is a self-proclaimed "certified crazy woman."

Joey Lindahl started riding shortly after joining Polaris in 2012, inspired and motivated by the large number of female riders she met there. In her current role as Senior Marketing Manager, Customer Growth, Joey brings her excitement for riding to women and diverse riders through her work to increase representation, inclusion and participation of women in powersports.

Lauren Lloyd, Public Relations Manager for the Powersports Group, Engineering, and Global Licensing Group at Informa Markets, received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and has been working in communications, branding, and public relations for the past six years, 2+ of which have been spent with the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows. Lauren works hand-in-hand with key business and trade press in the Powersports sector on a daily basis for both the IMS and Continue The Ride brands, and recently led the strategic PR announcement of Progressive IMS Outdoors that challenges the industry to reach new riders while also supporting the core audience. Donna Wiegle describes herself as being on the “accelerated living plan”. As a two-time cancer patient, cervical cancer in 1990, and now stage IV ovarian cancer, she believes she will be cheated in length of life, but she will certainly not be cheated in experiencing life. She combined her passion for motorcycle riding with her mission of raising awareness about ovarian cancer. In 2019, she rode her teal and white Harley-Davidson motorcycle 6,198 miles across the United States. She called her trip TEAL on WHEELS—teal being the color that represents ovarian cancer. She distributed 770 ovarian cancer symptom cards along the way and raised more than $50,000. In 2021, she wrote, FINDING COURAGE: Navigating Cancer on my Harley. In her book, Donna shares the successes and challenges of navigating her journey through cancer as well as navigating her way across the country on her Harley.  

Shalmarie Wilson is a survivor of a life-threatening motorcycle crash and has dedicated her career for the past 5 years as an on and off-road motorcycle instructor.  “Increase your fun factor by learning to master your bike.  Practice. Meredith Loza received her BA in Communication from the University of Southern California and has been working in the Motorcycle Industry for the past 10 years doing marketing and events.  Starting out at Alpinestars is where she truly became a race fan and enthusiast and has now been with the Powersports Group of Informa for the past 6 years.  As the Marketing Manager for the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows, Progressive IMS Outdoors and Continue The Ride brands, Meredith is dedicated to supporting the industry, cultivating new riders and bringing together brands with riders in exciting experiential and digital formats. In her personal time, she enjoys attending concerts and adventuring outdoors in Southern California and Lake Tahoe with her husband and two young daughters.

Lisa is a touring and off-road aficionado with over four decades of riding experience, who loves the motorcycling community's camaraderie. In 2005, after a long IT career, she combined her motorcycling passion with her profession. Lisa started in the industry at a BMW/Vespa dealership, where she worked her way up to GM. She then worked at industry giants Schuberth North America and RideNow, before becoming an entrepreneur. She has served on the boards of the Women's Coalition of Motorcycles, the BMWMOA, and the BMWRA. Lisa was also staff on the 2016 Sisters’ Centennial Motorcycle Ride. She recently retired and volunteers enthusiastically as well as writes articles for motorcycle magazines-both online and in print. She is currently the WMF's representative to the Women's Coalition of Motorcyclists.

Pam has ridden and loved motorcycles & scooters for decades and is a daily commuter in Los Angeles. Her YouTube videos cover mods, riding with Gizmo Biker Dog & more. She competed in the 2018 Scooter Cannonball, a strenuous, coast to coast, timed endurance challenge on a Vespa GT200. Katie McKay is a U.S. based full-time RV and moto traveler. She was the founder of GirlRiders, a community of female motorcycle riders for over a decade and the creator and publisher of Modern Moto, a magazine for women who ride.

With decades of riding experience, including sidecars for her children, achieving certification as an MSF RiderCoach and ASI ATV instructor, and years of being a dedicated volunteer - all after a serious crash at 21 years of age, Maggie brought a unique perspective to her position as the first female Chair of the American Motorcyclist Association's Board of Directors. Maggie has recently joined forces with the power team at WomenRidersNow.com as WRN's Director of Rider Outreach. She is passionate about exposing females of all ages to the many forms of motorcycling: road riding, track and desert/woods racing, recreational trail riding, charity events, rider education and safety, plus motorcyclists' advocacy/rights.

Sarah Merrell is an avid road rider, track day addict and mini-bike racer. She serves as the National Marketing Director for Women's Sportbike Rally and is the editor-at-large for Blue Ridge Motorcycling Magazine. She also runs a blog, leads group rides and mentors newer riders.

Brittany is a professional rider, journalist and safety expert. Brittany lives and breathes riding - even a devastating injury couldn’t keep her off the road for long. She embodies the spirit of living life with passion, courage and adventure. As a mentor for the Can-Am Women's Mentorship Program, she wants to show new riders how fun riding can be and empower all women to feel safe on the road. Jeanine Moss is a lifelong learner in health, wellness and the psychology of happiness. Jeanine grew up in Venice, California, in the 60’s and 70’s where the wellness and cannabis culture were born. If it weren’t for hip replacement surgery, she might never have discovered the medicinal effects of CBD and THC. When traditional medicine threw Jeanine into an opioid brain-haze, she found cannabis products helped her function, abate the pain and return to normal function in a matter of days rather than weeks. Today Jeanine considers herself a “Modern Midlifer” striving to be well in body, mind and spirit, and consults with companies like Wisdom Essentials in legal states, actively helping educate people about the benefits of the plant.  She rides a Piaggio 50cc scooter.

Amy grew up on a 20-acre ranch where she learned if something broke you had to fix it yourself. She attended college for auto/collision, but dropped out after landing her dream job at a hot rod and customs shop. Her husband (a talented mechanic) introduced Amy (a dirt bike rider) to streetbikes and the rest is history. Amy is now an aerospace systems mechanic and composite tech.

Annemarie was born with Cystic Fibrosis and a life expectancy of 35 years (she's 53!). In 2012, she was hit by a car at work and was paralyzed. Since then, she has been battling her way back to full function, including riding her motorcycle again.

Dedicated to providing a less intimidating and fun atmosphere for women to build their skill and confidence riding dirt bikes and/or riding street bikes on the track. Marika is the Founder of Ruts to Racelines and hosts women-only weekend events.

Senior Vice-President of Can-Am On-Road, Josée Perreault built her expertise internationally for more than 25 years. With a bachelor’s in Urban Planning from the University of Montreal and an MBA from Concordia University, Josée has made her way within big multinationals thanks to her leadership, her ethics and her expertise. After 23 years at Oakley, where she was most recently Senior Vice-President, Global Affairs, Josée joined BRP in 2016, ready to take on new challenges. For Josée, joining BRP was about trying to influence the experience of riding and bring more women into riding.

4 years ago, Laura, who is based in the UK, came out as a transgender woman. 1.5 years ago, Laura returned to motorcycling after 9 years out of the saddle, and has fallen in love with the community. Laura participated on 2 different legs of the WRWR within her first year back on a bike.

Part of the Can-Am On-Road team since 2017, Evelyne is leading the Can-Am Women's Mentorship Program, a new program designed to help break down the barriers women face to get on the road. With a bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Sherbrooke, Evelyne has been at BRP for the last three years. Growing up surrounded by powersports vehicles, she understands what it feels like to be a lady in this male-dominated industry. Evelyne stands for inclusivity and women empowerment; she’s on a mission to encourage more women to feel the thrill and power of the open road!

Indy Saini is a filmmaker and motorcycle rider passionate about adventure and travel, driven to increase the complex stories of women in mass media. Her short film directorial debut "The Lesson,” garnered international awards including Best US Narrative at the Women’s International Film Festival in Miami. Indy’s many years behind the camera has landed her work with master storytellers including Ang Lee and David Lynch on major Hollywood movies such as “Harriet,” “Gemini Man,” and “A Wrinkle In Time.” Her documentary work as cinematographer includes: “Soma Girls,” about education the children of sex workers in India that aired on PBS; "Women in the Front Seat,” and “Ice Bear,” a National Geographic Wild film for which she received an Emmy Nomination.

Erin Sills is a 45-time land speed motorcycle record holder, industry spokesperson, and retired Facebook executive. She owns Hunter Sills Racing which races 1000cc BMW motorcycles on the Bonneville Salt. Erin and her team hold more records in the 1000cc class than any other, including the coveted 1000cc Production record at 207 mph, the top naturally aspirated mile record at 238.389 mph, and a top speed to-date of 242mph. Erin is co-chairwoman of the largest US website for female motorcycle enthusiasts, WomenRidersNow.com, and has been named the American Motorcyclist Association Female Athlete of the Year͟ for her motorcycling accomplishments and the American Marketing Association’s Woman to Watch͟ for her business accomplishments. Erin most recently served as a Global Director of Marketing at Facebook. She and her race team have set two Guinness Book World Records, and Erin a member of the Bonneville 200 MPH Club, the El Mirage 200 MPH Club, the BUB 201 MPH Club, and the Mojave 200 MPH Club. Erin currently serves on the AMA Specialist Sport Commission, the FIM Women in Sport Commission and the board of the AMA Heritage Foundation. She is also an off-road adventure riding coach and in 2014 was named University of Cincinnati, College of Business alumni of the year. Cris Sommer-Simmons is an icon in the motorcycle industry. She is a journalist, author, 3-time Motorcycle Hall of Fame Inductee, a Motorcycle Cannonball Vintage Racer and the host of the Coast to Coast talk show.

Tricia has worked in the motorcycle publishing industry for more than 20 years, working full-time as the Creative Director and Staff Writer at TAM Communications, publisher of the best-selling motorcycle magazine on the newsstand, American Iron Magazine. She has written hundreds of stories for all of TAM's titles. She began sharing her stories and photos with WomenRidersNow.com (WRN) in 2014, and today heads up the editorial department.

Porsche is a passionate and accomplished motorcycle rider, with a background in historical research. Recognizing the need for representation of women of color in motorsports, Porsche became the Founder and Publisher of Black Girls Ride Magazine.

Debra Teplitz was a Midwesterner transplanted to Texas in 2014. When she looked for a women’s motorcycle riding group and found none, she decided to start the Houston Area Women Riders. Her mission is for women riders in the Houston metro area to meet, ride and build lasting friendships. She found that new riders were buying bikes but afraid to get out on the road. So she expanded the group's mission to help make these new riders confident about getting their bikes out on the road and teaching them group riding skills. The group is now 800+ riders strong and new women join every day. Debra lives in Humble, TX with her husband, an MC President, and her 2 cats.

Anya Violet is the Co-Founder and Brand Director of Atwyld, a women's motorcycle apparel line. She is also the Co-Founder of Babes Ride Out, the largest womens-only motorcycle campout in the world. Anya started riding motorcycles at the age of 7. After working as a fashion designer and director in the action sports industry for over 14 years, she is now able to combine her love of design with her love of motorcycles.

Meghan has managed an awesome team of product analysts at InsureMyTrip for close to 11 years. After beginning her career in medicine and education with a Master’s of Science, the tides of Toni’s life changed to bring her home to her family’s business, the Sturgis Buffalo Chip®. Hailed as The Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling®, it has been the epicenter of the Sturgis Rally since establishment in 1981. The Woodruffs will celebrate the Chip’s 40th anniversary this year, and Toni finds it exhilarating to be part of this dynamic experience. Over the decades, she’s worn many hats, including the development of the Biker Belles®. This charitable event celebrates women in motorcycling through mentorship, encouragement and empowerment. In addition to being inspired by the motorcycle community, she also serves on the Black Hills & Badlands Tourism Board and enjoys ranch life.

Andria worked as a newspaper journalist for 18 years (Newsday, The Baltimore Sun, USA Today) and got into motorcycling in 2001 to find a better way to commute to work. Her search for commuting options turned into a real passion for riding and for sharing the joys of riding with others. That lead her to her current role as director of communications for the Motorcycle Industry Council. She is now also a RiderCoach for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation.

Moira Zinn is founder of Powertrip Industries, an event management and experiential marketing agency that provides turn-key event production.
